Tom Bulleit fulfilled a lifelong mission to revive an old family bourbon recipe by starting the Bulleit Distilling Company in 1987. Inspired by the legend of his great-great-grandfather Augustus Bulleit, who made whiskey in the 1830s before mysteriously disappearing, Tom and his whiskeys have forged a name within the industry.
