Acacia achieves depth of flavor in Carneros Pinot Noir by blending our estate-grown grapes with wines made from the vineyards that produce their Single Vineyard Selection series. Controlling every aspect of viticulture is critical to quality. But other regions of California beckoned Acacia to indulge their passion for Pinot Noir (and Chardonnay) and drove them to create A by Acacia. For A by Acacia Pinot Noir, the Monterey vineyards produce a perfume of flowers and an underlying minerality, while Sonoma provides bright, cherry flavors and Carneros, a dollop of classic spiciness and velvet texture.
The Pinot Noir displays silky layers of ripe black cherry and dark fruit character, with enticing clove spice and new leather nuances. Toasty oak notes weave through the lush, fruity aromas and linger on the palate.
This beautifully structured wine complements a wide array of entrées, from grilled salmon or chicken to roast lamb and beef.
