The French 21, a riff of the classic French 75, is a classy glass of elegance that oozes effortless romance. Red and bubbly, you can’t go wrong with this cocktail. The crisp vodka is awakened by the astringency of the tangy lemon, which is then sweetened with the striking red raspberry liqueur and topped off with a splash of bubbles for a playful effervescence. Add a cute garnish to make this drink adorably irresistible.
Ingredients
- 0.5 oz. Ketel One Vodka
- 0.5 Lemon Juice
- 0.25 Raspberry Liqueur
- 0.25 Sugar Syrup
- 1 Dash Sparkling Water
- 1 Twist Lime Peel
- *Approximate serving size is 1.4 servings. Please enjoy responsibly.
Directions
- Using a sharp knife and a cutting board, remove a long slice of lemon skin, leaving as little pith on the peel as possible. Gently curl into a twist and set aside.
- Combine vodka, lemon juice, raspberry liqueur and simple syrup in a cocktail shaker with ice.
- Shake until combined and strain into a flute or coupe glass.
- Top with brut Champagne.
- Twist the lemon peel over the drink to express the oils, then add as garnish.

Simple Syrup
Ingredients
- 8 oz. Granulated Sugar
- 8 oz. Water
Directions
- In a medium size pot, heat the sugar and water for 15-20 minutes on a low simmer until the sugar is dissolved, stirring occasionally to prevent caking.
- Once sugar is dissolved, remove from heat.
- Pour into a container for storage, and label, date and refrigerate for later use. Good for 3 months. Yields 14 oz. of simple syrup.
