Mezcal Unión Unowas the brand’s first variant, introduced in Mexico in 2011 and in the United States in 2014. Uno means one in Spanish and the name is a nod to it being the first variant, and to remind us of the importance of unity.
Mezcal Unión Uno is an un-aged mezcal handcrafted with Espadín and Cirial Agaves, which have been matured for 8 to 14 years.
Mezcal Unión collaborates with several communities across different villages in Oaxaca, Mexico, empowering maestros mezcaleros and agave farmers to become entrepreneurs of their own businesses.
