The result is a drink that tastes like a Blue Hawaiian but has an orangey, autumnal palette. While a Spooky Surfer can elevate any situation, this drink is best enjoyed as a late-night sip after your successful Halloween bash when all your friends have left.

Midnight in the Appletini Orchard
Typically known for its vibrant hue, the Appletini took off in popularity when it first came on the scene. This twist on the now-modern classic keeps the sweet and sour of the original but adds an ominous element with the addition of blue curaçao, which gives it a darker color.
The inclusion of Ketel One’s aromas of citrus and honey, and long, strong finish add a luxe element to the cocktail. Mix these up for an evening of sitting around a bonfire while telling your favorite ghost stories.

Clarice’s Curative Painkiller
Based on the Painkiller, which is already based on the Piña Colada, this twist on a twist removes the rum and adds blanco tequila and a bit of cherry liqueur. Don Julio Blanco Tequila’s crisp agave flavor and dry, clean finish make it an essential component of this recipe, perfectly balancing the sweeter notes.
The result is something like a tropical Tequila Sunrise. You can enjoy this drink while watching your favorite horror movie.

- 1.5 oz. Don Julio Blanco Tequila
- 3 oz. Pineapple Juice
- 0.75 oz. Orange Juice
- 0.75 oz. Cream of Coconut
- 0.25 oz. Cherry Liqueur

Directions
-
- Add all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice.
- Shake vigorously but briefly to combine and strain into a hurricane glass over crushed ice.
- Add a cherry to top of drink to garnish and serve with a straw.
